@CprlRst Nothing on Dedicated Servers, but there may be some Mod Tools news coming in the future, I'll pass it along once I have it.

The guys over at www.blackmonkeys.de have finally given all you COD4 lovers a new Xmas present. Yes, they have finally released a Beta of their anticipated Galactic Warfare mod for Call of Duty 4. Hopefully this will rekindle the interest in the original (and best) Modern Warfare.
Featuring weapons and skins from Star Wars this mod has opened up the possibility of new maps and additions to the gaming community that has stuck by the dedicated server option and will bring many more hours of a new gaming experience to COD 4.
The mod is available from the Black Monkey's website.

According to The HollyWood Reporter. Activision are discussing a possible Call of Duty movie as well as some of their other titles such as Guitar Hero and World of Warcraft. This has yet to be confirmed by Activision's CEO but they haven't denied any rumours either.
"Hero" is from Activision Blizzard, a leading video game publisher that is looking to turn some of its games into TV and film properties.
Activision's cross-platform interests don't end at "Hero" either; discussions are under way to turn the "World of Warcraft" and "Call of Duty" video games into movies.
"They are being talked about for the big screen," said one person with knowledge of the details.

Cadred have once again released their European top 10, ranking the best team's in Europe based on the votes of the top 10 team's of August and five panelists. Unlike the previous editions, the December edition is focussed on the team's potential, giving you a prediction of what the rankings might look like in a few months from now.
Leading the rankings are the Swedes from fnatic, followed by Team Dignitas, Reason Gaming and Power Gaming with 110, 108 and 105 points respectively. New in this month's rankings are TheLastResort and NeXt Century, who are currently ranked eight and nine.

Treyarch's Noah Heller mentioned shortly before the release of Call of Duty: World at War that the developer was probably going to lay off World War II for a while, leaving many to wonder what the stage of operations for the next CoD would be. If a report from That VideoGame Blog proves accurate, Activision may be taking the franchise to a much groovier era - the 1960's.

Call of duty scene writer (taken!!)
As Call of Duty 4 is one of the most active games around, cuRve is looking for another writer to keep our community up to date with the latest headlines.
As Call of Duty 4 writer you will work closely with other writers in the organisation. cuRve expects you to write the latest news and some special items like interviews.
cuRve also covers the best Call of Duty events and expects its writers to work closely on that from their home or from the venue.
Requirements are:
• knowledge of the community;
• good knowledge of the English language;
• creative mind to write exclusive items;
• ability to work in a team;
Graphic designer
Our website is Currently being redesigned, after this we will need a graphic designer to update the banners and other graphic features.

In a suspense filled finals match versus Vanity Gaming, cuRve took first place in the Lithium cup.
Map #1 - Crash
Crash was our map choice.We started off well taking several rounds in attack. Generally teamwork was very good and there was a lot of communication over ventrilo. We ended the first half at 5-5. Vanity's attack was good but we still held our ground and ended the first match 11-9.
Map #2 - Strike
Strike was Vanity's choice. To give them credit they had very strong tactics on their home map and they made good use of their sniper and aku rushers. The first 6 rounds went to Vanity. After that we really rallied ourselves and made a great comeback up to 9-9. Due to a quick spawn rusher and some fairly epic nades, Vanity took the last 2 rounds and forced the game into overtime.
Map #3 - Crossfire
Crossfire was decided as the overtime map by a quick vote. We played it in a mr3 match mode. Vanity took the first round against us on defence but we comfortably took the next 4 rounds giving us the win. Squishy highlighted the last round with a +10 grenade drop onto the B plant, leaving us in a 3v1 situation and so, in effect securing us the win.
This is a democall to the players in the lithium cup lineup. I am planning on making a highlights movie of the cup once the final is over so keep hold of your demos and if you have something impressive don't hesitate to send them to me over xfire

Kings of Destruction
We started off well taking numerous rounds back to back on crash, after some good individual and team play. After the break we seemed to switch off, allowing KoD to take a few rounds. It took us a while to get our act together, and we all felt we should of easily won by a larger margin, but crash ended 12-8. The second map was vacant, and for us it was the most succesful, with us taking 9 rounds for the win relativly easily with not much resistance.
Release Gaming
The first map we played was once again crash, and in chosing this paid off, as we out played our opponent at every turn, with Infinity and Coltie dominating A bomb site, especially Coltie with his 30 bomb. Not really much to say about this, apart from we took crash comfortably, with the final score being 14-6. The next map being strike, and after hearing they know their stuff on it made us realise the job in hand, but like before we didn't meet much resistance, and with a few team changes, we took the 7 rounds easily, which puts us in the final against Vanity eSports who we met at the early stages of the cup in a tough 12-12 draw.
